He’s an active little one.

Now that Christian is mobile, we bought him a cage playpen.

It can be quite dangerous in the there with him, especially if he takes a fancy to your hair!

Nala sometimes get interested in Christian’s toys. And Christian is getting interested in Nala too.

Ready… Set… Go!!!

Christian’s new set of wheels.

“Good evening, Mr Bond. We meet again.”

On a different note (yes, there are more things in life than Christian – not much, but there is!), my brother and his wife just got back from the US of A and they brought me a present. A new cap!  I’ve been looking for a new San Francisco 49ers cap, not an easy thing to find in Australia. I think it was time that I changed caps, don’t you? :)

Christian did stinky.

Christian’s funny word for the day.

Laughing Bouncing Baby.

Finally, some video. I had borrowed a video camera from dad but couldn’t figure out how to transfer the video to the blog. So phone camera (a video converter and YouTube) to the rescue!

And for some reason, Christian finds sneezing funny.

Enjoy.

Geek Jr.

It’s never too early to have a remote control in his hands. It looks like there is another geek in the family. Like father, like son :)

Time with Egyptian Granddad

Christian really likes Egyptian Granddad. I think Christian prefers him to anyone else… including his own mum and dad!

I think granddad will have to get used to this.

Granddad with his two favorites.

It’s Saturday morning… Time with dad :)

One trick

Now that Christian can pull himself upright , that’s all he wants to do.

We had put a couple of boxes to block his path to the TV, and he quickly realised he could use them to stand.

Luckily for us, holding on and standing can entertain him for ages.

And when he is bored of the boxes, he moves across and stands using the couches :)

De-paving

My dad has never really liked our house (although I thought that it was pretty good) so my parents have decided to renovate. But first, we thought that we would save and reuse some of the paving. So I went over and did some hard work…

27 years ago, I helped my dad pave this area, so there is a nice symmetry that we are the ones pulling them out again.

Supervised work.

Actually, my dad did a lot of work. Claudie just happen to take photos when he was sitting down :)

There is a photo almost identical to this of me carrying my brother Paul 27 years ago during the first extension. It’s a little freaky to think that he was about the same age as Christian is now. I was standing on sandy ground in that photo too.

Grandma entertained Christian while we worked. Christian has begun giving full faced sloppy kisses!

That night, Christian again became the centre of attention. He has quite a few paparazzi chasing him!
